Speak Japanese now!
It worked!
On Wednesday 28th June we held our first Japanese Teacher Interview followed by a Speak Japanese Now Taster. It was a success!
This was an online Japanese group class.
Ken sensei from www.klasjapan.com (an Italki teacher), joined us live for a quick Q & A session and we broadcast live to our Facebook pages and groups, Nihongo Connection and Speak Real Japanese with Ken Sensei.
Meet the Teacher interview and Speak Japanese Now session
The Interview was scheduled for 6pm UK time but was 1pm for Ken sensei because he is based in Michigan, USA. Once the interview was over we moved to an online classroom for the taster lesson.
The students were mainly from the US but we also welcomed a student from Indonesia. People joined one-by-one for a light and fun conversation class for around 20 minutes.
The Tech
The recording itself went well without any major technical issues (apart from my noisy cat snoring in the background audio!). The videos are still available to watch on the Facebook pages. Also in our groups, along with videos that were taken from other aspects during the recording.
What’s next?
We hope to do another one soon! I am currently speaking to other teachers about joining the group for interviews in the not-too-distant-future.
